Timbersizer


A customer may specify that the timbers he has ordered is to be surfaced. This process is done at the timbersizer. Pictured here is the infeed through which the timbers pass. The timbers can be surfaced all 4 sides (S4S).



Pictured at right are surfaced timbers sitting on the outfeed chain. Timbers up to 14" by 22" can be handled by the timbersizer.



The timbers are produced either at the headrig or the twinband. Pictured at left is a timber coming from the outfeed of the twinband.
