Processing the Log
Prior to entering the sawmill for processing into lumber, the logs are debarked by passing through a ring de-barker.
The bark will then make its way to a hog(chipper) by way of a conveyor belt beneath the barker. Here it will be processed into
such by-products as material for nursery use.
After debarking, the logs will be "bucked", using a circular buck saw, to the appropriate length
that matches our customer's order file.
After debarking and bucking, the logs are fed into the sawmill for breakdown. Here
the logs are going to the small headrig for further processing.
